- The Emergency Department Technician (EDT) is responsible for assisting the professional nurse in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and re-ordering and stocking supplies.
- Shift: 0.6 FTE, 48 hours per two weeks in 12 hour shifts, night shift (7PM - 7AM), every third weekend rotation.
- Assists with patient care as directed by RN may include but not limited to point of care testing, IV-line setup, discontinuation of IV, enema, suture removal, restraint application, catherization, 12 lead EKG
- Current EMT or ERT certification upon hire.
- Current enrollment in an LPN, RN or Nurse Practitioner program, and completion of one (1) semester of clinical rotation within the program
