This will primarily be an electrician position, but you will be required to respond to other outages outside of the HVAC trade. The shift for this position is 6:00 AM-6:00 PM (Rotating schedule).ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Performs daily/weekly/monthly walk-throughs of the facilities in support of data center and office operations.</li> <li>Walk-throughs (rounds) are completed every four hours through the entire facility.</li> <li>Possesses a high level of technical knowledge & experience in performing maintenance, repairs and emergency service in Class A building and mission critical data center on state-of-the-art mission critical support systems.</li> <li>Duties include performing daily inspections, preparing logs, supervising vendor/contractor activities and assisting in performing technical training for the operations team.</li> <li>Operates and maintains equipment (electrical switchgear, diesel generators, HVAC/CRAC systems, UPS systems, PDUs, RPPs, BMS systems, and fire detection and suppression systems).</li> <li>Audits maintenance records to schedule and dispatch service operations staff and subcontractors.</li> <li>Ability to prepare MOPs and adhere to the strict guidelines of approved MOPs for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.</li> <li>Provides technical support to customers with system emergencies.</li> <li>Interfaces with Facility Management to ensure services are performed to satisfaction.</li> <li>Updates service tickets and other maintenance related documents.</li> <li>Assists with scheduling and managing vendors and subcontractors.</li> <li>Assists in making preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.</li> <li>Must be available to work emergency service & shift work.</li> </ul> QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: <ul> <li>Must have Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI and CI Poly.</li> <li>Advanced level of understanding and operational competency for mission critical systems.</li> <li>Current/valid state issued Journeyman OR Master HVAC or electrician license.</li> <li>Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory and solid-state electronics.</li> <li>Understanding of HVAC BMS, Chiller controls and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).</li> <li>Extensive hands-on experience in repair of MCC, Switchgear, ATS, Static Switches HVAC Controls, Mechanical systems and VFDs.</li> <li>A high level of understanding & experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical switchgear, diesel generators, Simplex fire detection and suppression systems.</li> <li>Ability to perform routine and emergency service on state-of-the-art mission critical systems to include electrical switchgear, diesel generators, HVAC systems, and fire detection and suppression system.</li> <li>Experience with basic level operation, repair and maintenance of HVAC systems.</li> <li>Strong professional and technical writing skills.</li> <li>Good computer skills to include intermediate proficiency with MS Office.</li> <li>Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.</li> <li>Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate various mechanical & electrical systems.</li> </ul> Desired Qualifications: <ul> <li>Factory Trained Certifications.</li> </ul> #CJP-1234We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
