- The purpose of the Corporate Electrical Project Engineer is to support our Project Managers with electrical engineering design, scopes of work, and equipment specification development along with other technical services.
- Generate and perform the specification and purchase of electrical power distribution, control and instrumentation types of equipment such as: o Power Services, Substations, Transformers, Switchgear, Protective devices, Motor controllers, Motors, Field Control and Instrumentation devices, general Branch system distribution equipment, Lighting, Heat tracing, etc.
- Key documents may include: o Electrical Flow Diagrams, PIDs, Load and Equipment/Device lists, Power OneLine diagrams, Schematic Wiring Diagrams, Field Wiring Diagrams, General Arrangements, Electrical Room arrangements, Raceway/Equipment Block Diagrams, Raceway and Cable Arrangements along with associated Cable Schedules, Grounding and Lighting Arrangements, Heat tracing, etc.
- Support project on-site commissioning and startup activities.
- At least ten (10) years of electrical experience in heavy industrial projects, with a preference of such being in the cement or mineral industries
