Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

- All applicants must be comfortable relocating for a permanent role if not currently residing in the greater New Orleans area.
- Supervise and ensure the safe and correct installation, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of equipment/instrumentation related to the unloading, loading, transfer and storage of cargo including conveying equipment, AC and DC motors, PLCs and IO modules, VFDs and DC Drives, associated wiring and power supplies on ship loaders, stacker/reclaimers, continuous barge unloaders, bucket cranes and various support equipment.
- Power distribution experience of 13.8kv, 4160v, 480v, 120v, low voltage systems+ Correct operation of all automated equipment including barge unloaders, conveyors, reclaiming equipment, etc.
- Master Electrician-level knowledge/experience in troubleshooting at a component level of industrial electronic controls: VFDs/DC drives, PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and associated wiring.
- Thorough knowledge and application of Ohm’s Law.+ Experience with Emerson (formerly GE) RX3i controllers and Machine Edition software is a plus.
