- Summary: Project Engineer who will work with an experienced team of electrical/ instrumentation/control system (EIC) engineers and designers who specialize in Midstream Oil and Gas projects.
- Other types of projects would involve public works and private client projects for water and wastewater treatment facilities which involve motor control centers, standby and emergency power systems, roadway/area lighting, underground conduit systems, cable tray systems, etc.
- Responsible for the development of EIC system design concepts and calculations for utility services, standby power generation, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, conduit and cable schedules, electrical system design (lighting, instrumentation, PLC/RTU control and monitoring, and communications), detailed design calculations, and preparation of EIC specifications in low voltage to medium voltage electrical systems.
- Responsible for projects from initial concept development through the construction phase including the review and written responses to shop drawing submittals, requests for information, change proposal requests, preparation of record drawings, attendance at meetings, site inspections, preparation of punch lists, etc
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of post-graduate experience in the conceptual and detailed design of electrical/instrumentation/control systems for principally midstream oil and gas projects with an emphasis on natural gas/crude oil metering stations, compressor/pumping stations, etc.
