- That knowledge is key when it comes to providing research and technical support to senior-level DoD representatives responsible for ordnance electrical safety of naval weapons and ordnance facilities and platforms in Lightning Protection, Facility Grounding and Bonding, Equipment Grounding and Bonding, Electrical Service, Ordnance and Energetic Grounding and Bonding, Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance (HERO), and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
- We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to identify, develop and implement recommendations and solutions to problems, risks, and potential outcomes regarding prevention of unintended electrical power to the ordnance resulting in inadvertent initiation or detonation, and Ordnance Electrical Safety.
- You’ll leverage your expertise in NAVSEA OP-5 and OP-4 ashore and afloat requirements to ensure the electrical safety of ordnance and energetics operations in Navy facilities as they pertain to Lightning Protection, Ordnance Electrical Safety interactions, and electromagnetic and static influences.
- At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to provide technical direction on Lightning, Grounding, and Bonding (LG&B) and ordnance electrical safety involving naval weapons and ordnance.
- You will establish and implement ordnance electrical safety criteria and standards.
