- Skilled in a wide variety of hand and power tools to perform work assignments and ensure that quality work and cleanup is completed, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Proactively identifies and reports building deficiencies back to Chief Building Systems Technician or Facility Manager.
- Assists licensed HVAC mechanics and licensed electricians in completing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, general repairs, wiring and specific project-related work.
- Conducts routine servicing of installed air conditioning systems and components including compressors, condensers, valves, coils, cooling towers, heat pumps, motors, belts, bearings, fans, filters, piping, wiring, control systems, thermostats, ducts, ventilation systems and other appurtenances.
- Performs additional duties as requested, i.e. requisitions supplies, maintains service records, run errands, assists with meeting setups, moves office furniture and equipment, performs grounds keeping, and other interior/ exterior general maintenance work, etc.
