We're looking for belly dump drivers to deliver materials to job sites in a safe and efficient manner.. Accurate loading and unloading of asphalt and rock materials. Access off road construction sites, and safely maneuver truck where needed.. Maintain a commercial driver's license (CDL) and department of transportation (DOT) medical card.

What does the job entail? <ul> <li>Accurate loading and unloading of asphalt and rock materials </li><li>Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations </li><li>Access off road construction sites, and safely maneuver truck where needed. </li><li>Perform pre and post safety checklists on truck prior to and following hauling. </li><li>Obtain ticket signed by customer and leave customer a copy. </li><li>Provide customer service to clients. </li><li>Maintain a commercial driver's license (CDL) and department of transportation (DOT) medical card. </li><li>Maintain insurable driving record. </li><li>Obey all traffic laws and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. </li><li>Strong process/procedure orientation; </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication/comprehension skills; </li><li>Strong team and customer service skills; </li><li>Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment; </li><li>Demonstrates initiative and reliability with minimal supervision; </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li> </ul> Here's what we require <ul> <li>Ability to work well with others in a team environment </li><li>Clean MVR </li><li>Ability to lift at least 50 lbs </li><li>Class A CDL with airbrakes an doubles endorsement; </li><li>Current DOT Physical; </li><li>1 year experience driving doubles or LCV (longer combination vehicle) required </li><li>Track record of safety-conscious performance. </li><li>Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity; </li><li>Varied working conditions, sometimes in extreme climates.
