- Follows the daily route to accomplish timely pick up and/or exchange of durable medical equipment, using Company scanning systems to track equipment.
- On a daily basis, completes and maintains the driver log, the vehicle check-out, the vehicle inspection and the oxygen manifest to ensure compliance with the Department of Transportation.
- A safety orientation is required to perform work (e.g., driving, delivery, set up, loading and stocking of durable medical equipment as described) and follow safety operating procedures
- Technicians may periodically experience occupational exposure to bodily fluids, feces and blood (approximately 50%-75% of the time) when servicing, picking up and/or handling dirty durable medical equipment
- Technicians may seldom experience occupational exposure to other potentially infectious materials (approximately 0%-25% of the time) when delivering, servicing, picking up and/or handling durable medical equipment
