- The DSM will be responsible for auditing commercial activities, such as execution, market saturation, product strategic plans and category penetration to ensure the growth expected.
- The DSM will need to influence the distributors on his/her territory to achieve the KPIs defined and also become a distributor’s counselor and assist driving the business with long term vision.
- Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
- Assign trade marketing materials to the distributors in the area and plan for the execution of those.
