- The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has an opening for a
- Coordinates grant applications and special funding projects with Fund Development Department to support Emergency service work throughout the Division; and ensures that expenditures are consistent with funder designations and/or restrictions, Salvation Army policy, and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assists the EDS Director by establishing and maintaining relationships with federal and state emergency management personnel, Emergency Management Directors and staff in Arkansas/Oklahoma counties, and all non-emergency management governmental agencies that participate in disaster response, including: Emergency Management Agency, Department of Public Safety, Department of State Public Health, Department of Family and Children Services, USDA, Department of Transportation, National Guard, etc.
- Builds and maintains effective working relationship with Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) on the State and National level, representing The Salvation Army AOK Division at all VOAD meetings in the absence of the EDS Director.
- Works with the EDS Director to develop publications and brochures on disaster and personal preparedness.
