- Under direction of the Family Court Judge and Family Court Administrator, plans and provides juvenile services to divert youth from becoming involved in the juvenile justice system, and attempts to address emotional and behavioral concerns by utilizing community resources.
- Reports directly to the Senior Probation Officer.
- Appointment to or continued employment in this job is contingent upon a satisfactory background check which may include but is not limited to: confirmation of a persons' identity; review of criminal conviction records; verification of educational degree, license, or certificate required for the position; review of Department of Motor Vehicles records; Department of Justice fingerprint scan; and/or drug and alcohol testing as required and allowable by law.
- Compared to Chief Probation Officer classification does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- General knowledge of Circuit Court, Family Division statutory and regulatory requirements
