- Collaborate with Oncor organizations to ensure orderly funding, design and construction of planned facilities.
- Direct the development of transmission project solutions that include reliability assessments, economic assessments, and technical study assessments where appropriate, and the submission of projects to the Regional Planning Group that meet or exceed NERC requirements and ERCOT’s Transmission Planning Criteria.
- Advocate company policy on industry working groups such as Federal Energy Regulatory Commissions (FERC), National Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Texas Reliability Entity (Texas RS) and ERCOT subcommittees to develop standards, procedures, or other requirements which impact Oncor Electric Delivery.
- Ensure that documentation of compliance with Reliability Standards and other binding documents are completed and available as needed for Texas RE and NERC audits.
