- The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for the successful management of the RCM AR Management Operations Team. The position manages processes and provides guidance, direction and support to encompass all aspects of the revenue cycle, including but not limited to reimbursement related analysis, claim submission, account follow-up, denial management, patient customer service, and underpayments recovery.
- The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all revenue cycle activities with a goal of maximizing reimbursement in a cost-effective manner that is in compliance with federal, state and payer-specific billing requirements.
- Prepares detailed analyses and reports of billing and accounts receivable activity and results, including performance metrics, bad debt expense and AR days outstanding.
- Analyzes reimbursement from all sources, including carrier reimbursement exception reporting and follow up pending claims analysis and denials management.
- 5+ years of Rev Cycle management exp- preferably in GI, Pathology, Anesthesia, Imaging, Infusion
