- Vertex currently operates at the forefront of rare disease scientific innovation and has successfully developed and commercialized multiple breakthrough medicines for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and Sickle Cell Disease.
- In addition to clinical development programs in CF, Vertex has more than a dozen ongoing research programs focused on the underlying mechanisms of other serious diseases including programs in Type 1 diabetes, hemoglobinopathies, APOL-1 Mediated Kidney Disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, and pain.
- The role will have a strong focus on commercialization strategy of CASGEVY. The successful candidate is highly strategic, thrives in an environment of uncertainty and rapid change, demonstrate cross-functional leadership and has a problem-solving mindset with analytical skills.
- This role is an individual contributor and reports to the Sr Director, Global Commercialization.
- Partner with Competitive Intelligence to articulate the Heme portfolio positioning and inform response & reaction to market events
