- The Directing Attorney: Generalist Services for Specialty Populations will manage a diverse range of attorneys, support staff, and volunteers, and be primarily responsible for supervising teams’ day-to-day work at area senior centers, the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center (“Harbor”), and with Holocaust survivors wherever they may be.
- Our Holocaust Services Program (HSP) team continues to help survivors with applying for and maintaining Holocaust reparations while also providing wrap-around legal services across a range of issues.
- In collaboration with the President & CEO, VP Legal, fellow Directing Attorneys, program staff, and community representative, identify legal issues impacting Holocaust survivors, older individuals, and members of the communities surrounding Harbor by evaluating Bet Tzedek’s role in addressing those issues and ensuring delivery of effective responses.
- Work closely with President & CEO, VP Legal, and Grants Team to identify, pursue, and fulfill funding opportunities.
- Work with Pro Bono Department to set metrics related to pro bono and volunteer participation, develop pro bono and volunteer opportunities for the program to meet metrics, and support staff in the training and mentoring of pro bono attorneys and volunteers.
