- My client, the American Society of Hematology has an immediate need for a Digital Content Specialist.
- The Digital Content Specialist is primarily responsible for evaluating and editing the Society’s website content and managing the organization and reorganization efforts of content on the Society’s web properties.
- In conjunction with the Web Coordinator and the Web Design Specialist, this position manages web content inventory, facilitates content updates, and oversees the development of new digital content for the web.
- The Digital Content Specialist optimizes content to ensure that information on the website is cohesive, organized, accurate and up to date, and aligns with best practices and the Society’s branding and style guide.
- Edits copy, gathers resources, and organizes content for distribution on the Society’s website ensuring that information is clear, concise, aligns with search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, and adheres to accessibility and usability best practices.
