- The Diesel Technician reports to the Fleet Maintenance Manager and Vehicle/Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
- The Diesel Technician is personally responsible for providing proper diagnosis and repair of any mechanical/technical issues to the existing operation fleet.
- Reviews daily Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and performs repairs along with completing assigned preventative maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Performs inspections, diagnosis/troubleshooting and repair of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, suspension, brake, engine and pneumatic air systems on heavy-line commercial vehicles and other equipment.
- Will be required to work early morning or late evening swing shift in an effort to provide proper support to the maintenance team.
