- The Bailiff position is 19 hours or less a week and can have various hours.
- This Bailiff position requires a Nevada POST certification or reciprocal certification recognized by the State of Nevada or a successfully completed State of Nevada Reserve Deputy certificate issued by Douglas County Sheriff's Office along with full time law enforcement experience.
- Acts as liaison between the judge, attorneys, courtroom staff and the public in order to ensure the orderly conduct of court business.
- State of Nevada Reserve Deputy Certificate issued by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
- Douglas County participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each applicant's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
