- The Department of Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor to serve as the scientific leader of health services and outcomes science in the Department of Surgery.
- This visionary leader will be responsible for growing our federally funded research program in health services and outcomes research, consistent with departmental and university missions.
- Potential candidates may have methodologic expertise anchored in an array of disciplines including psychometrics, clinical epidemiology, patient-centered outcomes research, comparative effectiveness research, informatics, implementation science, or health disparity with existing applications to surgical care, outcomes, and/or health policy.
- This individual will be responsible for growing a multi-faceted program of surgical health services and outcomes research and training.
- Located at Northwestern Medicine’s downtown campus, the department offers state-of-the-art facilities and the opportunity to collaborate with experts across various fields of study.
