- The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Planning department analyzing customer and inventory demand while establishing metrics and best practices for an evolving Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Materials Resource Planning (MRP) environment.
- The Demand Planning Manager is the integration point between Sales and Operations leading dialogue for the execution of respective plant production versus sales forecasts.
- Responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining the demand planning tools necessary in determining raw material, packaging, and finished good inventory levels.
- Create and maintain forecast models incorporating business intelligence and forecast information from Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Develops and implements MRP and planning tools in ERP system working cross functionally with Sales, Operations, and IT departments.
