- The Merchant Relations Specialist must effectively respond to concerns raised by merchants, attorneys, Better Business Bureaus and Attorney Generals, in a variety of formats.
- Utilizing excellent problem solving, negotiation and communication skills, this individual resolves merchant issues by finding terms that are mutually agreeable to the merchant and the processor or its affiliates and then communicates the resolution in a clear and concise manner.
- Also, this position assists the Application Administrator with the preparation of merchant facing applications and forms; and performs various IRS related duties.
- Job Functions:Outbound calls to merchants for QA, Equipment return reminder and Sales Leads for equipment upgrades or adding merchant accountsAssist with IRS duties including, corrections to merchants’ legal name and TIN (tax identification number); QA or 1099-K forms; semi-weekly tax payments to the IRS, and the BNotice process.
- Assist Merchant Relations Manager with any other tasks as needed.
