- Marketing and Communications is responsible for building the brand of Chautauqua Institution through excellence in storytelling, service, sales and support.
- We leverage data, technology, and entrepreneurial staff to operate ticketing, sales, cinema and online enterprises that exemplify and support the mission of Chautauqua Institution.
- During the 150th Anniversary season at Chautauqua, Marketing and Communications is taking the lead on planning for several of the major initiatives and events of the celebration, including the StoryCorps initiative, tent re-enactment, living photography exhibit, Pillar Talks, Old First Night drone fireworks display, and the youth and family visioning events.
- Organize, mount, and hang photographs submitted by members of the community in the living exhibit space in the lobby of the Colonnade building.
- Much of this work can be accomplished remotely; on-grounds presence is required for work on the physical exhibit and events that we plan to engage the public.
