- Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
- Patient populations commonly served include: septic shock, respiratory disease requiring mechanical ventilation, GI bleeding, multisystem organ failure, pulmonary hypertension, DKA/HHNK, hypertensive emergencies/crises, acute drug overdoses-intentional/non-intentional, and medication desensitization.
- The Critical Care Technician (CCT), under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides delegated age-appropriate care in a culturally and ethnically sensitive manner in the Critical Care Units.
- The CCT assists patients with the tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment related to basic nursing skills, personal care skills, basic restorative services, and necessary critical care skills.
- The CCT practices and performs what was taught during their CNA training and certification or learned during basic nursing courses at an accredited school for professional nurses.
