We are recruiting to fill a Court Reporter within the Missouri Judicial branch.. Persons serving as official court reporter shall be an officer of the court and shall hold office at the pleasure of the judge who appoints the reporter.. Record and preserve all courtroom proceedings under the direction of the judge; attend court sessions and record full verbatim records of all oral evidence, including but not limited to objections to the admissibility of testimony, rulings of the Court and all exceptions to such rulings.. Perform courtroom duties, such as marking exhibits; assist judge as required; assist other divisions with court reporter duties when given approval by appointing judge.. Must be a Certified Court Report (CCR) as provided by Rule 14 of the Missouri State Supreme Court Rules.

Education above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required general experience; experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.) Must be a Certified Court Report (CCR) as provided by Rule 14 of the Missouri State Supreme Court Rules. May also have a Registered Professional Reporter Certification but must obtain the CCR from Missouri within 24 months of employment and must maintain certification and remain in good standing.
