- Two years of experience in counseling in the judiciary, criminal justice, or other human services discipline that involves tracking and monitoring offender compliance, case management, conducting client appointments and substance abuse testing, and documenting and maintaining files; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completion of Court Officer Basic Training (COBT) within one year of hire
- Completion of Mental Health First Aid Training (MHFAT) within one year of hire
- Completion of Court Officer Advanced Training (COAT) within two years of hire
- Completes a variety of paperwork and reports including positive urinalysis reports, notice of court appearance, completion of community service ignition interlock reports, treatment compliance and noncompliance, certificates of completion such as DWI school, Victims Impact Panel, completion of community service, donations, restitution, and requesting court documents.
