- The Bailiff is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, neutrality, integrity, and confidentiality of the court system.
- The Bailiff prevents potentially life-threatening activities directed toward judges, court personnel, witnesses, defendants, prisoners, and the general public; maintains order in the courtrooms.
- Effectively communicate with the Presiding Judge, Associate Judges, Court Administrator, Court staff, citizens, attorneys, and other law enforcement agencies to exchange information and ensure court security.
- Provide any service to assist the Judge in conducting Court Sessions and any necessary services to insure the daily operation of the Court
- Assist in conducting all Court sessions, including handling of case files and their presentation for hearing to the Judge or Magistrate, escort defendants and other persons to the bench and/or other court offices.
