- Provide support functions to Department of Public Works management, and is responsible for planning, assigning, monitoring, and evaluating the work of subordinates, monitoring and managing Monument Referencing, Monument Preservation and Subdivision Funds
- Supervise land surveyors, and sub-professional personnel engaged in maintaining official records for monument control, checking map applications prepared for purposes of subdividing and creating condominium units.
- Coordinate with other city agencies on requests for service, time schedules, and cost estimates, and perform other professional duties which require a licensed land surveyor.
