- The basic function of the Corporate Credit Manager is to help maintain/improve cash flow and working capital within the business.
- This position is responsible for establishing sound credit policies and procedures and administer all credit operations of the company in a manner that will increase sales volume, contribute to the profit of the company, and enhance customer stability, and provide for the prompt turnover and adequate protection of the company's investment in accounts receivable.
- This includes identifying key risks in the portfolio and developing a plan for mitigation, establishing appropriate allowance for doubtful accounts, and approving all bad-debt write-offs
- Works closely with 3rd party providers to provide support and escalation routes to ensure that service levels are being achieved
- Work with Director of Credit to create an accurate weekly / monthly cash flow forecast
