- Description Designs/conducts Industrial Hygiene field surveys to identify/assess physical, chemical or biological health hazards in the workplace.
- ResponsibilitiesRequiring minimal technical oversight and supervision, provides direct IH field service to both internal and external customers including comprehensive quality risk evaluations and exposure assessments by conducting extensive research and data collection on chemical, physical, and/or biological hazards/exposures, indoor air quality/mold exposure issues and other occupational disease hazards.
- May coordinate workflow and direct day to day work assignments of IH Technicians in RCS IH. Reviews data/field notes collected by IH Technician and reviews conclusions and recommended plan of action in reports, as needed, prior to release to customers.
- May serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in a specific area of expertise (such as Confined Space Entry, Vibration, IAQ/mold, Also acts as a mentor to other Hygienists and IH Technicians as the identified SME.In coordination with assigned RCS Account Consultants meets with large, complex multi-location customers to develop comprehensive IH service plans and coordinates delivery of the service plan with field IH staff countrywide.
- Consults with RCS Account Consultants to assure that IH service plan is executed and meets desired deliverables.
