Primary Responsibilities Produce submittal documents after receipt of an order. Work closely with the customer to ensure prompt submittal approval.Civil drafting of shop drawings for submittal and approval.Obtain submittal documents from suppliers/vendors.Work with outside engineering firms when required to provide project engineered designs.Follow up with customers through the submittal and approval process until project submittals are approved and ready to be forwarded to production.Download plans and complete takeoffs of potential projects including developing quotes for project bids.Stay in touch with customers through the pre-bid, bid, and post-project bid process.Assist production manager with scheduling and inventory control.Assist dispatcher with the scheduling of customer-requested product delivery/deliveries schedule.
