- The Community Health and Engagement Coordinator at the Masonic Cancer Center (MCC) plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the cancer center and communities across Minnesota under the guidance of the Community Outreach and Engagement Manager.
- The Community Health and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for identifying and implementing effective strategies to enhance community cancer education, facilitate community screening initiatives, and ensure connections to necessary services and treatment.
- Work collaboratively with M Health Fairview Community Advancement team, the University of Minnesota Medical School Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, the University's Mobile Health Initiative, and Biopharma Companies to facilitate community screening opportunities and cancer education
- Support planning efforts for large-scale public engagement events hosted by the MCC COE team including but not limited to Goldy vs Cancer Days at the Bell Museum, State Fair, and Science Museum
- Event coordination responsibilities include but are not limited to, venue research, budget development, expense tracking, food and beverage, ancillary event management, registration services, team communication, A/V coordination, speaker management, event logistics, branded merchandise, vendor partnership, lead generation and reporting, and post-event analysis
