- The Department of Mechanical Engineering (MET) is an innovative and growing department, the only campus in CUNY to offer an associate (AAS) and bachelor’s degree (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, as well as an associate degree (AAS) in Industrial Design.
- Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, the College Laboratory Technician will be expected to contribute to the academic and professional vitality of the department through both extensive technical knowledge and the ability to function collaboratively in department-level efforts.
- Serve as an expert in Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and proficiently operate a variety of CNC machines such as mills, lathes, waterjet, routers, 3D printers, and more.
- Operate and maintain manual machining equipment, including mill, lathe, materials testing lab equipment, and other related machines.
