- The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking an experienced Collections Archivist who will contribute to multiple cross-institutional teams developing the Opioid Industry Documents Archive (OIDA).
- A joint collaboration between Johns Hopkins University (JHU) and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), including libraries at both universities, OIDA is a digital repository of publicly disclosed documents from recent judgments, settlements, and ongoing lawsuits concerning the opioid crisis.
- Perform rapid, critical analysis of extensive sets of documents produced by the opioid industry in order to develop research guides and other tools to assist researchers using the archive and to respond to user research inquiries.
- A hired candidate willing to relocate to Baltimore will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues in the Welch Medical Library and build relationships with archivists in the Chesney Archives and the Sheridan Libraries, all at JHU.
- Master’s Degree in library science, archival studies, or related field required.
