- As a CNC Programmer and Machine Operator, working on new product development, you will work individually or as part of a small team to program and machine parts for research and development projects and prototypes.
- Other responsibilities of this position include performing preventative maintenance on CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, as well as other fabrication machinery, prototype assembly and drawing and design reviews.
- Program, setup and operate a variety of CNC machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments for a prototype environment.
- Perform periodic machine maintenance on CNC machinery including daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks.
- Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or production fixtures, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal and plastic properties, layout and machining procedures.
