POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position is located on-site in Sedro-Woolley, Washington State.
The CNC Mill Technician performs a variety of duties and utilizes multiple skillsets. Technicians are required to follow detailed designs, instructions, and programming. 5 Axis Mill Operation, includes Tooling knowledge, Calibrated equipment, machine operation, part loading, clamping, and machine maintenance are some daily tasks.
<h3>The following essential job functions are performed as a Mill Technician</h3>
<ul>
<li>Attention to detail and quality is required</li>
<li>Reads and understands blue prints, isometric drawings and work orders</li>
<li>Receives and carries out directions from designated Supervisors and Production Leads</li>
<li>Must be able to understand and comply with Safety Practices</li>
<li>Identifies and obtains equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function</li>
<li>Sets up scaffolding and safety barriers under direction</li>
<li>Properly executes Hazardous Material Disposal activities</li>
<li>Performs prescribed maintenance on machines and facilities as required</li>
<li>Knowledge of common hand tools</li>
<li>Works in other Cells to support Production as required, ie; Mold Fab or Assembly Cells</li>
<li>Performs on the job training, AS9100, Nadcap training and other training as required</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>
<li>Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.</li>
<li>Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS
MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN OR LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENT FOR THIS POSITION.
Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED required, college level or trade school education preferred.</li>
<li>Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

<li>Wage range for this role is between $20 - $40 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.</li>
