- The CNC Machinist is responsible for the effective set-up, operation and troubleshooting of new and existing parts and production lots, as well as successfully detecting malfunctions in machine operations.
- Will work with CNC machining centers, CNC multi-spindle drilling machines and other manual drilling machines, single spindle mills, press brakes, and measuring equipment.
- Participates in the design and machining of special tooling or fixtures required to manufacture piece parts.
- Calculates and codes machine controlling criteria, such as axis movement, type and size of cutting and drilling tools, spindle location, machining start.
- High School graduate plus trade school training in machine shop practices and procedures, plus 3 years previous related experience using Vertical CNC machining centers and other general purpose machining and inspection equipment.
