- NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE POSITION - $10K POSITION SUMMARY: This position reports to the Adult Ambulatory Coordinator and/or to the Director of the Service and the Medical Director.
- Core skills may include crisis assessment, intake assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, case management, team/community collaboration, patient/family education and triage/discharge planning.
- EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION This position requires a Masters degree and Connecticut licensure as a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Incumbents in specific assignments must posess and maintain a valid drivers license with public passenger endorsement, maintain a driving record free of any violations and pass a safe driving educational program upon hire and annually thereafter in order to participate in the Fleet Vehicle Program as outlined in the Eastern Connecticut Health Networks Environment of Care Safety Policies and Procedures 110.
- Training and/or familiarity with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), familiarity with abuse and neglect reporting and duty-to-warn mandates, knowledge of community-based resources and experience with pre-authorization and billing processes is preferred.
