- The Department of Family & Community Medicine at the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is recruiting a clinical psychologist/clinical health psychologist for our growing clinical practice and Family Medicine (FM) residency program.
- Candidates must have a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited psychology program (APA/CPA‐accredited program) and have completed an APA‐accredited internship/residency in clinical/counseling psychology.
- Candidates must also be experienced in providing integrated behavioral health services in primary care settings within the Primary Care Behavioral Health Consultation Model and be skilled in the use of targeted assessment and treatment approaches for behavioral health disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, substance use, etc.)
- This position will hold a faculty appointment of Assistant or Associate Professor/ Clinical (Non-Tenure Track) depending on qualifications and experience and will have a cross appointment in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.
- In addition to functioning as a Behavioral Health Consultant, duties also include supervision of family medicine residents, medical students, and psychology residents/fellows/externs within PCBH consultation model at the Family Health Center (FHC) located at the Robert B. Green outpatient clinic campus.
