- Corewell Health Butterworth offers maternal fetal medicine care, a fetal care center, and the partnership of the Helen DeVos Childrens’ Hospital NICU. The Women’s and Infant Services Clinical Nurse Specialist will support all seven locations with labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn care.
- The advanced knowledge and skills required for this role include clinical expertise in a labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and newborn care, evidence-based practice, collaboration, consultation, education, mentoring and change leadership.
- In collaboration with other members of the health care team, the CNS leads, provides, enhances and improves health care delivery by evaluating nursing practices, developing methodologies, establishing standards of care and providing consultative services.
- The CNS is a clinical expert in the theory-based and/or research-based nursing practice within a specialty area.
