- The Department of Family Medicine has approximately 250+ personnel including 85 salaried faculty and Management and Senior Professional (MSP) physicians and 82 core and affiliated trainees, residents and fellows.
- This includes the management, strategic growth and improvement of four faculty practices focused on value-based care and innovative care models across Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, Behavioral Health, and the Clinical Center for Integrative Medicine (CIM).
- The Research and Data Analysis Core (RDAC) provides collaboration and expertise to the LHS Center and LHS Scientists in study design, data management, data analysis, power and sample size calculations, data interpretation, presentation and reporting of results.
- Working closely with UCSD-based and external researchers and stakeholders, the incumbent will design strategies for evaluation of informatics initiatives, quality improvement efforts, develop measures and metrics to assess technology use within academic and community medical center settings, and create customized analytic datasets and perform statistical analyses.
- Expertise in relational database design and development; and demonstrated experience with complex data modeling, database design and development using DBMS such as MS SQL Server, DB2 or Oracle database systems.
