- Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory Department of Pediatrics are seeking a Clinical Psychologist with experience in treating mood dysregulation in children and teens.
- The psychologist will work within the Childrens general outpatient clinic as well as within an acute Bridge Clinic.
- The Bridge Clinic provides rapid access outpatient care via interdisciplinary treatment team to meet the acute mental health needs of children and teens who have recently sought acute/urgent care for their symptoms.
- The Bridge Clinic aims to provide short-term pharmacotherapy, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, parent training, and case management for patients recently discharged from an acute psychiatric care setting (emergency department or inpatient psychiatric unit) or Childrens inpatient team.
- Psychologists work closely with child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, behavioral and mental health therapists (LCSWs and LPCs), and nurse case managers to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for each patient.
