- We seek attorneys interested in advising the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED), a multi-technology office implementing over $25 billion in funding for demonstration projects that include clean hydrogen, carbon management, industrial decarbonization, advanced nuclear reactors, long-duration energy storage, demonstration projects in rural or remote areas and on current and former mine land, and more.
- The preferred candidate(s) would have project finance, federal financial assistance, energy sector, or environmental law experience.
- Provides legal counsel to officials within DOE's Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) arising from OCED operations, programs, and activities, such as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Inflation Reduction Act, award and administration of federal funding agreements, and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
- The preferred candidate would have project finance, federal financial assistance, energy sector, or environmental law experience.
- GS-13 and above are required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel ConfidentialIf selected, you must self-identify if you are or were (within the last 5 years) a Schedule A, Schedule C, or non-career SES political appointee as OPM approval is required prior to finalizing your selection.
