- At the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), you'll have the opportunity to do just that.
- Under the charge of a licensed Professional Engineer / Resident Engineer this position performs construction management as the Project Engineer and serves as the Chief Engineer's representative on low to medium risk construction projects or as an Assistant Project Engineer on projects of higher risk and complexity.
- Performs contract administration and review project invoices, prepare/maintain project budgets and schedules, and coordinate project work activities with multiple CDOT Specialty Units.
- Prepare and review independent cost estimates and scopes of work for the hiring of engineering consultants as CDOT staff on the project for review by Resident Engineer.
- Four years of inspection of roadway and / or bridge construction AND two years of construction project management.
