- The Mission of The Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County, Inc. exists to assist individuals, families, and communities in preventing and interrupting cycles of violence so all can grow stronger and move toward bold futures.
- The children's program works with age groups ranging from birth to 17 years old and will focus on how domestic violence impacts those different ages differently and the long-term effects the exposure will have on them.
- Develop and implement a child-centered curriculum and learning environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation to promote development in all domains for children of all abilities residing in emergency safe shelter and children whose parents remain connected to FCC programming.
- The curriculum will be trauma-informed and have elements of Bowen's Theory.
- Complete assessments for the children connected to FCC programming at the beginning and end of their stay in shelter.
