- Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Finance and Operations Officer is responsible for the overall management of the budget, investments, audits, grant reporting, facilities and building management, food services, procurement, fixed assets, IT and computer services, and other functions in managing the business/financial affairs of a not-for-profit corporation.
- Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors, the CFO has authority to make investment decisions on behalf of the organization following CHF policies and procedures.
- Supervise and control all facility business functions to include General Ledger Accounting, Budget, Auditing, Payroll, Accounts Payables and Receivables, and facilities management.
- Oversees the compliance of all licensing, code enforcement regulations, site visits, and permitting required by official entities (fire code, health and safety code, Department of Education food service delivery, Department Of Health, etc
- Act as the primary senior management liaison with external/internal auditors, general legal counsel, and other business regulatory bodies.
