Job Responsibilities: Pennoni is currently seeking full-time AWS Certified Welding Inspectorsin the Boston, MA area for off-site fabrication shops that producebridge and highway products for transportation agencies - we work regionally AND nationally! Required experience is consistent with, but not limited to: <UL><LI>Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials</li><li>Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications</li><li>Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers</li><li>Production ofdaily written shop reports</LI></UL> Required Attributes: <UL><LI>Minimum Education: High School</li><li>Minimum years of experience: 3</li><li>AWS Certified Welding Inspector</li><li>Computer Skills: Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Must be able to work well independently and with others</li><li>Need reliable transportation</LI></UL> Preferred Attributes: <UL><LI>Experience performing QA/QC of bridge fabrication.</li><li>Non-Destructive Testing [NDT] certifications (e.g.: UT, MT, PT).</li><li>Experience performing QA/QC of bridge and highway structures fabrication.</li><li>AWS D1.1/D1.5 Experience.</li><li>Coating Inspection experience</LI></UL> Why Work With Us?
