- Job Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by DOR, Administrator, or Regional support team to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.
- Provide Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice, Company procedures, Therapy Department procedures and productivity standards.
- Adhere to Company procedures regarding documentation and billing of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant services.
- Conduct timely screening of residents referred to physical therapy to determine the need for intervention/ treatment.
