- The main duties of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) are to provide basic care to patients and help them with daily activities they might have trouble doing on their own, such as bathing and getting dressed.
- CNAs follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies, and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies/Procedures.
- Must be a certified and/or be state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of Pennsylvania
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
