- As a valuable part of our ambulatory department, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional patient experience including but not limited to patient rooming and intake, medication reconciliation, medication administration, assistance with procedures, processing of scopes and turnover of exam rooms between patients, stocking of exam rooms, pre-visit planning, and forms processing.
- Candidates with over one year of recent direct patient care experience in a private practice or hospital clinic environment encouraged to apply.
- Completion of Medical Assistant training in an approved program, or one (1) year experience patient care in a physician office practice or hospital setting required.
- CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) before first day of employment is required.
- Takes, records, and reports patient vital signs using medical equipment; performs procedures of low complexity such as visual acuity, development and/or musculoskeletal screening, POC testing, phlebotomy, EKG testing, and other approved clinic specific diagnostic testing.
